化学品貿易事業
化学品貿易のビジネスは、1980年代の後半に、大阪の大手化学品商社からの一本の電話から始まりました。彼らはインドから染料中間体を調達するパートナーを探しており、大阪商工会議所から当社の連絡先を入手したのです。この電話をきっかけに、化学業界への参入が始まりました。以来、イーストウエストコーポレーションは、信頼できるビジネスパートナーとして、トップクラスの化学メーカーと直接的な関係を築いています。
Our chemical trading business started from a phone call in the late 1980s from a reputed chemical trading firm in Osaka. They were looking for a partner to source dyestuff intermediates from India and had received our contact details from the Osaka Chamber of Commerce. That phone call led to a relationship continuing till today, and initiated our entry into the chemical industry. Since then, East West Corporation has built direct relationships with top chemical companies as their reliable business partner.

TEXTILE PRODUCTS TRADING
繊維製品貿易事業
当社のルーツは1950年代、ビルマへの綿織物の輸出取引です。日本の繊維産業が東南アジアや中国のより競争力のある生産者に取って代わられるまで、日本製の生地の輸出業者として年々成長しました。当社は生地の輸出から既製服などの繊維製品の輸入に切り替え、インドからは作業用手袋を輸入しました。その他にも、当社は産業用繊維製品も販売しています。
The company’s roots were formed in the 1950s with the export trade of cotton textiles to Burma. As an exporter of fabrics made in Japan, the business grew over the years until the Japanese textile industry was taken over by more competitive producers in South East Asia and China. From exporting fabrics the company switched to importing textile products, such as ready-made garments and then industrial gloves from India. Along with industrial gloves, other textile products for industrial use are also sold by the company.

戦後から1990年代初頭まで、日本は世界の製造業の中心地でした。軍艦スクラップ、魚油、紙パルプ、ディーゼル発電機、バスやトラックのタイヤ、テレビ、懐中電灯、ビデオデッキなどの家電製品、写真フィルムなどが輸出品目でした。輸入のほうは、衣料品が一般貿易の大半を占めていました。世界的な建設ブームと日本食の世界的な人気により、当社は現在、これらの製品ラインを追加しています。
From the post-war period until the early 1990s, Japan was the world’s manufacturing centre. Warship scrap, fish oil, paper pulp, diesel generators, bus and truck tyres, televisions, flashlights, VCRs and other household appliances, and photographic film were among its exports. On the import side, clothing accounted for the bulk of general trade. Due to the global construction boom and the worldwide popularity of Japanese food, the Company is now adding to these product lines.

不動産管理事業
ここ数年、日本は世界有数の観光地となりました。リゾート地は常に満室で、北海道から沖縄まであらゆる場所で観光客の宿泊施設に対する需要が高まっています。当社は現在、北海道のニセコで1件のバケーション施設を管理していますが、不動産オーナーと緊密に協力し、ニセコと富良野でさらなる物件の開発と管理を支援していきます。
Japan has become the world’s premier tourist destination in the last few years. Resorts are always full and demand for tourist accommodation has increased everywhere from Hokkaido to Okinawa. The company currently manages one vacation property in Niseko, Hokkaido, and is working closely with real estate owners to help develop and manage additional properties in Niseko and Furano.
